Dryer Repair FAQs
Why is my dryer running but not heating?
+
The usual causes are a burnt heating element, a blown thermal fuse or a faulty thermostat. On heat pump dryers, it can be a compressor or sensor fault. We test each part to confirm.
Why does my dryer take so long to dry clothes?
+
Slow drying is most often caused by a blocked lint path or exhaust duct, a dirty condenser, or a sensor that ends the cycle too early. Cleaning and a sensor check usually fixes it.
Why is my dryer drum not turning?
+
A broken drive belt is the most common cause. Worn rollers, a seized idler pulley or a failed motor can also stop the drum.
Do you repair washer-dryer combo machines?
+
Yes. We repair both the washing and drying functions of washer-dryer combo units.
Is an overheating dryer dangerous?
+
It can be. Overheating is often caused by blocked airflow or a failed thermostat. Stop using the dryer and book a check as soon as possible.
